In 2007, ICIE created new tool to help us bring facts and science to lawmakers and regulators who make decisions that impact all of us.

We've instituted an Environmental/Regulatory Affairs Committee. Among its ranks are scientists and policy experts from a large number of Idaho business concerns. This committee will analyze issues and advise agencies and legislators of their conclusions on environmental questions. They will concentrate on using only factual, verifiable information. This Committee gives more structure and strength to our efforts. Policymakers have welcomed these efforts warmly and told us they look forward to our additional help.
